Feb 7: Last day to withdraw from Full-Term Classes without a "W" using PiratesNet. You may drop classes using the system until 11:00 pm
Feb 8: Last day to file "Request for Refund" for classes dropped by January 24
Feb 9: Last day to file for Pass/No Pass for Full-Term Classes
Feb 12 -15: (Fri/Mon) Holiday - Lincoln's & Washington's Birthday
March 1: Begin checking your MJC Student Email for your Summer 2010 Registration date & time
March 5: Last day to apply for Associate Degree/Certificate for Spring 2009 to have name in commencement program
April 5: Last day to withdraw from Full-Term Classes* in the Admissions Office (5 pm on East and West Campus), or PiratesNet. You may drop classes using PiratesNet until 11:00 pm on April 5th
April 16: Last day to apply for Associate degree/Certificate for Spring 2010
April 26 - May 1: Final Examinations
April 30: Graduation, 6:00 p.m.
May 1: Semester Ends
During the summer (May 3 - August 20), MJC is closed on Fridays. Our summer hours are Monday - Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
March 31: Summer Registration date and time available on PiratesNet for Continuing students.
April 29: Priority web registration by appointment for EOPS/DSPS/TRIO/Veterans
April 30-May 18: Priority web registration by appointment for continuing students
May 19-27: Priority web registration by appointment for new and returning students. (Appointment determined based on date Admissions Application is received).
May 25: Last day for new and returing students to register in summer classes and earn priority for Fall registration.
May 28-June 6: Late Registration
May 31: Memorial Day Holiday
June 7: Summer classes begin. For late start classes, check the PiratesNet searchable schedule.
June 19: Last day to file Pass/No Pass for Full-Term classes
June 20: Last day to add full term classes on the web (PiratesNet)
June 20: Last day to drop Full-Term classes online (PiratesNet) and be eligible for a refund. This is a Sunday, only PiratesNet registration system is available. You may drop classes using the system until 11 p.m.
June 25: Last day to Withdraw from Full-Term classes without a "W" using PiratesNet. You may drop classes using the system until 11 p.m.
July 5: Independence Day Holiday
July 6: Last day to file "Request for Refund" for classes dropped by June 20.
July 26: Last day to withdraw from Full-Term classes in the Admissions Office (5:30 p.m.), or PiratesNet. You may drop classes using the system until 11 p.m.
Aug 14: Semester Ends!
*IMPORTANT NOTE: A full-term class is any class that begins June 7 and ends August 14. A short-term class is any class that does not meet the full-term class definition. Students can register at their scheduled registration date & time or any time thereafter during scheduled registration hours until the day before the class begins.
