The Office serves both prospective and current students who have documented disabilities and who request services on the basis of a disabling condition.

They schedule appointments for advising, assist with student concerns, answer questions regarding DSP&S program services offered, testing accommodations, priority registration and other services on MJC campus.
DSPS also has staff that are testing administrators for course related quizzes and exams given to qualifying students. Testing accommodations can include extra time, reading and writing assistance and enlarged print. Tests must be arranged 4 days in advance and tests requested for a different day or time are only with instructor approval.
