The Assessment Testing Office administers tests to help you select appropriate courses or satisfy pre-requisites.

MJC East and West Campus open Monday, June 18. All classes and library services are in session. The following areas are closed: Pool, Men's PE, Gym, Library, North Drive, Practice Field. See information tent on East Campus for temporary class and library service locations.

Enrollment Services Important Dates

Please note: Students may use the college's web-based registration system (PiratesNet) to add or drop classes. The system is available daily from 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. When noted, the important dates listed below are for Full-Term classes only.  Please see your printed student class schedule for Short-Term or Late-Start deadline dates.

Spring 2018

October 16: College established deadline for Priority Registration Spring 2018

October 24: Spring 2018 Priority Registration date and time available on PiratesNet for students

November 1 – December 15: Priority Registration period for Spring 2018

December 18 – January 7: Open Registration period for Spring 2018

January 8: Spring 2018 classes begin

January 15: Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday

January 19: Spring 2018 deadline to submit Residency Consideration for the Spring 2018 semester

January 21: Last day to add full-term* classes. Last day to drop full-term* classes without a “W”. Refund deadline for full-term classes. Late start classes are still available to add after this date! View our Class Search page to see what’s available.

February 6: Deadline to request pass/no pass grading for full-term* classes

February 16: Lincoln Holiday

February 19: Washington Holiday

April 2: Last day to drop full-term* classes with a “W”

April 23 – April 28: Finals week

April 27: Graduation, 6:00pm

April 28: Fall classes end

*For late start classes, check the PiratesNet Class Search. For last day to drop classes, file for a refund, or file for Pass/No Pass, please see your class schedule which is available via PiratesNet. You may drop classes using the online system until 11 p.m.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: A full-term class is any class that begins January 8 and ends April 28. A short-term class is any class that doesn’t meet the full-term class definition. Students can register at their scheduled registration date and time or any time thereafter during scheduled registration hours until the day before the class begins.

Fall 2018
