Community College Completion Grant

What is the Community College Completion Grant?

The Community College Completion Grant is a new State Financial Aid program for Full Time Student Success Grant (FTSSG) recipients.  The intent of the program is to support student persistence, retention and success by providing assistance to students enrolled in a minimum of 15 units per term in order to complete their educational program in scheduled timeframes.

How much can a student receive?

The maximum annual award for the Community College Completion Grant is $1,500.  Due to limited funding, the Community College Completion Grant is awarded on a first come first serve basis.

What are the eligibility requirements?

To be eligible for the Community College Completion Grant, a student:

      • Must have financial need
      • Must be receiving the Full Time Student Success Grant during a primary semester (Fall/Spring)
      • Must be enrolled in at least 15 units during a primary semester (Fall/Spring)
      • Must maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of a 2.0 or higher
      • Must maintain pace and adhere to their comprehensive Student Education Plan (SEP)
Can I lose eligibility?

Failure to meet terms and conditions for CCCG Program will result in program disqualification, which is not appealable, even if there are extenuating circumstances.
