FAFSA Application Deadline

Filing a FAFSA is the FIRST step in applying for financial aid. Once your FAFSA has been processed, the Office of Federal Student Aid at the U.S. Department of Education will send you a Student Aid Report (SAR). This is a summary of the data submitted on your FAFSA. This information will then be sent to the colleges you listed on your FAFSA.

After you file your FAFSA and the college receives it, the MJC Student Financial Services Office will send you a "Document Request Notice" email to your student email account. Submit all documents requested as soon as possible. Your financial aid file will not be reviewed by an MJC Financial Aid Technician until all requested documents have been submitted.

PLEASE NOTE: Any delays in submitting requested documents could delay your financial aid process. Be sure to check your MJC email account for important notices from the Student Financial Services for any documents you need to submit.
