Whether you're new to campus or gearing up for graduation all MJC students are invited to join us for the 3rd annual MJC Welcome Day. All MJC students are welcome. Stop by the East Campus Quad betweem 10am - 2pm and enjoy free lunch with your food truck ticket, campus tours, meet faculty and staff, stroll through the resource fair and stop by the radio station booth. 4pm - 8pm on the West Campus Plaza, WestFest is open to MJC students, high school students, junior high school students, parents and the community. This event includes free swag, free snacks from 6 local food trucks, campus tours, college night, live DJ, and performances by Empresa de la M, Funkhaus, and Natural Revolution, live on the main stage.
On June 13th, MJC's VP of Student Services, Andrea Wilson, attended the Juneteenth Symposium at California State University Sacramento for the Black Honors College Signing Ceremony. The ceremony memorialized a long term partnership between the Black Honors College at Sacramento State and 15 community colleges.

MJC's Office of Basic Needs invites you to celebrate the legacies of Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta at the Farmers Market on the East Campus Quad. All MJC students are invited to grab fresh produce, food items and snacks at the market on June 12th between 10am-12pm in the East Campus Quad. Celebrate with food, culture and music! This event is free for all currently enrolled MJC students.
