Modesto Junior College
Due to poor air quality, and in the interest of your health, Modesto Junior College is closing at 4 p.m., November 15, and will remain closed through Sunday, November 18. All classes and extracurricular activities on campus are cancelled during this time frame. The college will reopen and classes resume on Monday, November 19.

Crisis Counseling Procedures

  • Is visibly distraught (crying, upset, or inconsolable)
  • Express no career direction
  • Displays visible signs of self-mutilation (cutting, burning, hair-pulling)
  • Shows grief and bereavement issues
  • Appears to be a victim of assault

  • Shows substance abuse or addiction problems
  • Appears to need resources for shelter and food
