Health Insurance Options 2017-18
Modesto Junior College offers two health insurance options for international students. Please choose the policy that best suits your needs.
Option II: ISO Med 1 is a good plan with less initial cost to students under 25. It would be an economical choice if you are in good health with no ongoing or foreseeable medical cost.
Option I: Shield 500 is MJC’s designated plan with increased benefits from the ISO Med 1 Plan, however, for those students who are 25 and over cost is greater.
When you purchase the ISO Med 1 plan or the Shield 500 plan go to the website https://www.isoa.org . You will need to purchase insurance prior to your Fall registration that will cover from the date of your arrival in August 2017 and until December 16, 2017 (then prior to registration for the spring semester, January 1-May 1, 2018). Once you have paid the premium/submitted your receipt to the International Student Program the registration hold will be omitted/lifted. If you have any questions, please contact the ISP, 575-6012 or email@example.com.
