A transcript is an official document of courses taken showing the final grades, degrees
and certificates received from Modesto Junior College. Grades from other schools are
not reflected on an official MJC transcript. Official transcripts include college
seal and signature of the designated college official. Modesto Junior College accepts
electronically submitted transcripts from other institutions. Institutions may submit
their official transcript electronically to MJCESeForms@yosemite.edu or by using one of the following companies: National Student Clearinghouse, Parchment,
Credentials. Please note: MJC can only guarantee receipt of electronic transcripts sent through
one of the companies previously mentioned. Please check with the school you are sending
transcripts from and MJC to ensure the proper delivery method is chosen. If you do
not use one of the companies listed above, MJC will not receive your transcripts. It is the students' responsibility to confirm that the recipient will accept/retrieve
electronically submitted transcripts. Students are required to update their contact
information before ordering their transcript through their PiratesNet account.
The Admissions and Records Office offer the following services for transcript ordering:

**PLEASE READ FOR EXPRESS PROCESSING: Modesto Junior College DOES NOT offer express or overnight deliver service. Mailed Express Transcript Requests will be mailed the same business day ordered when request is received PRIOR TO 12 NOON. Hold for Pickup Express Transcript Requests must be submitted by 4PM in order to be processed the same business day.
Option - Student may order and pickup express transcript during business hours.
Option 1 – ONLINE Requests
Current students and alumni can conveniently request official transcripts through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) (www.studentclearinghouse.org). Advantages of using ONLINE services include: fast and hassle free service, online requests are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and major credit cards are accepted for transcript payment. Two free lifetime official transcripts are NOT available with this option (see Option 2 – Free – Two Lifetime).
Option 2 – FREE – Two Lifetime Requests
Two free lifetime official transcripts ARE available with this option. Regular service is the only processing available with this option. The current processing time is 5-7 business days. Please complete the FREE Transcript Request Form and submit to Enrollment Services Office by email MJCESeForms@yosemite.edu , in-person, mail or fax. Forms emailed in a picture format cannot be processed. Emailed forms must be submitted with your MJC student email account otherwise they will NOT be processed.
Transcripts will not be processed if student has an outstanding obligation with the college."Hold for final grade(s)" or "hold for posting of degree/certificate" requests are not accepted. Transcripts cannot be faxed. Transcripts are mailed through the US Postal Service (allow for additional delivery time). Fees must be paid at time of request. Transcript telephone requests are not accepted. Transcripts with coursework prior to 1983 may require additional processing time. Transcript requests received during a campus closure period are processed in the order received when campus reopens.
