Overview
The Associate in Science (A.S.) in Business Administration degree is intended for
students who plan to transfer to a University of California (UC) campus or other four
year college outside of the California State University (CSU) system. This degree
includes lower division coursework required for transfer and provides students with
foundational insight into the complexities of the contemporary business environment.
Coursework in the areas of accounting, business law, and economics will equip students
to recognize and analyze business, financial, and ethical issues in order to make
informed decisions. Students seeking transfer to a CSU campus should refer to the
Associate in Science Transfer (A.S.-T.) degree. In all cases, students should consult
