Students are required to schedule a meeting with a counselor to obtain an accommodations form for the current semester. It is recommended that students make an appointment before the semester begins by calling (209)575-6225.
Summer 2024 semester – May 13 to August 16.
Fall 2024 semester – August 26 to December 13.

The ASC team has an efficient and friendly office staff that can answer your questions and provide you with the help you need. The Office serves both prospective and current students who have documented disabilities and request services. The ASC front office staff assists students with the application process by phone and in person. They schedule appointments for advising, assist with student concerns, answer questions regarding ASC programs and services offered, testing accommodations, priority registration, and more. ASC also has staff that are testing administrators for course related quizzes and exams given to qualifying students. Testing accommodations can include extra time, reading and writing assistance, and enlarged print. Tests must be arranged four days in advance, and tests requested for a different day or time are only with instructor approval. The Testing Center on the East Campus is located in Student Services Building, Room 116, and on West Campus Yosemite Hall, Room 115.
To be considered for ASC, please complete and submit the application packet including the verification of disability to the East Campus ASC office in Student Services Building 112.

Due to learning disability testing being conducted in our office, please do not bring children with you for a counseling appointment.
To ensure sufficient time for counseling appointments, any arrival beyond a specified time will be considered a NO SHOW.
If a student arrives late to an appointment, it is at the counselor's discretion to see the student, and a reschedule might be necessary.
Service animals are permitted on campus. A service animal is a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the American with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The Yosemite Community College District will allow an individual with a disability to use a service animal in district facilities in compliance with state and federal law. Please refer to YCCD Policy on Service Animals.
The Accommodations & Support Center (ASC) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. ASC is a registration site where students have the opportunity to become registered
voters. There is no obligation to register to vote and the student's decision will
have no effect on services offered by ASC.
