Overview
The Certificate of Completion in Tutoring is designed to provide students with the
theoretical foundation for empowering educational success in their peers, a deeper
understanding of the topics and subjects tutored, practical experience tutoring, and
valuable skills that will be useful in transferring to a university, in education
careers, and in jobs in today's workforce that require critical thinking, problem
solving, and communication. Students enrolled in the Tutoring program may use the
certification as a means of providing evidence to employers or prospective employers
and college instructors of their ability to effectively communicate and collaborate
with a diverse student population.
