Join Us for 2nd Annual Traveling Around MJC: A Multi-Cultural Event!

Hosted by: The Office of Campus Life & Student Learning and the Associated Students of Modesto Junior College (ASMJC)

Open to all MJC students, faculty, staff, and community members

Modesto Junior College’s ASMJC & Campus Life proudly present the 2nd Annual Traveling Around MJC: A Multicultural Event on April 16, 2026. This free outdoor celebration invites students, faculty, staff, and community members to come together in the spirit of cultural awareness, inclusivity, and unity.

Guests will explore interactive continent-themed tables featuring cultural displays, treats, and giveaways, offering opportunities to learn about traditions and heritage from around the world. The evening will also feature live cultural dance performances representing diverse traditions and a vibrant DJ-led atmosphere with music throughout the event.

Clubs, Special Programs, and Resource Departments will be in attendance, providing information, activities, and opportunities for students to get involved and connect with campus support services. 

Attendees can also enjoy international cuisine from local global food trucks (limited food tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis).

Cultural attire is encouraged as we celebrate the rich diversity that makes our campus community unique.

Come for the food, stay for the music, and experience the world at MJC, this exciting, fun, and educational evening is an event you won’t want to miss!
