Join Us for Traveling Around MJC: A Multi-Cultural Event!

Hosted by: ASMJC Senators Juliana Coronado, Parnian Hakimi, Nasya Menezes, Celeste Randolph, and Robbi Waln

Come celebrate diversity, culture, and community at Traveling Around MJC: A Multi-Cultural Event! Hosted by the ASMJC Senators, this exciting event aims to promote cultural awareness, inclusivity, and unity across our campus.

Whether you're a student, faculty member, or part of the community, we invite you to join us and explore the vibrant traditions from around the world.

The first 250 attendees to register at the event will receive a food voucher valued at $8.00 to enjoy a delicious meal from the Cinco De Mayo Food Truck!

Event Highlights

  • Live Performances: Enjoy captivating dance performances and a guest speaker that highlight various cultural traditions.
  • Cinco De Mayo Food Truck: Savor delicious Mexican cuisine at the Cinco De Mayo Food Truck! The first 250 attendees to register will receive an $8.00 food voucher to enjoy a tasty meal.
  • Cultural Booths: Explore interactive booths showcasing cultural displays, henna art, traditional crafts, and more.
  • Workshops & Activities: Participate in hands-on workshops like traditional dance lessons, language classes, and cultural storytelling sessions.
  • Art & Photography Exhibit: View stunning student artwork and photography that celebrate cultural heritage and diversity.
  • DJ Javi Lopez & Dancing: Dance to a lively mix of global music by DJ Javi Lopez and enjoy the energetic multicultural atmosphere.
