Biography

I am from Stockton and attended San Joaquin Delta College before transferring to Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. I have an MA in composition from Johns Hopkins and an MA in Education with an emphasis in reading instruction from CSU Stanislaus. I began teaching at MJC in the fall of 2002 as an adjunct English instructor; I moved to a full-time position in the Reading Department in the fall of 2005. I teach Reading 184 (Critical Reading), English 1001 (Advanced Composition & Critical Thinking), and College Skills 100 (Foundation for First Year College Success).
