FAR-OUT FREQUENCIES: ELECTRONIC MUSIC CONCERT

Wednesday April 01, 2026 at 7:00 pm  |  MJC Planetarium (Great Valley Museum)  |  MJC West Campus

This concert will feature original electronic music compositions created by student composers from the Modesto Junior College Music Technology Program and members of the MJC Electronic Music Club.

• Nathan Villarreal
• Christopher Walker
• Julian Zavala

Music will be created using computers, synthesizers, samplers and digital effects.  Some compositions will be live performances while some will be pre-recorded. Visuals will be projected on the planetarium dome.

MJC Music Technology Director, David Dow, will also present an original electronic music composition.

The concert is free and open to the public. Donations are accepted.
