MJC's Healthy Living Series will host Jennifer Marsh of Stanislaus County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services
and Prevention Services to discuss the local Fentanyl epidemic. This discussion is
to inform and provide a comprehensive understanding of fentanyl, the localized insights
specific to Stanislaus County and its devastating effects within our community, and
country overall. Through this interactive session, discover how to educate yourself,
our community, and practice effective methods of meaningful actions. As a commitment
to community well-being, participants will have access to free Narcan, empowering
them to play an active role in saving lives. Join us in this crucial journey towards
understanding, empowerment, and collective action against the fentanyl crisis. A crisis
that claims an alarming 4-5 lives weekly in Stanislaus County.
