National Pi Day

Join the Library & Learning Center & the School of Mathematics, Engineering, and Science as we celebrate National Pi Day. 

Enjoy pi-related games, such as Pizza Pi, Buffon's Needle, Seeing Pi, Making Pi, Finding Pi, and Birthday Pi. Be sure Pi will get the respect it deserves! 

Our Pi Day celebration also features a Digits of Pi contest: Recite the longest string of Pi to win a gift card and Great Valley Museum swag. The Digits of Pi contest starts at 1:00; sign up in advance. 

Guests can grab a passport as they walk into the event, and get it stamped as they participate in the activities. The reward for participating in these activities (other than the innate satisfaction of knowing and loving the concept of pi) is a slice of pizza. 

Although Pi Day is March 14, we'll be celebrating it on Wednesday, March 12 at the West L & LC, 12:30 - 2:00 p.m.
