MJC Health Services, Nurse Lidia Gaines and Mayra Magallanes-Reyes, Interim Health and Wellness Services Coordinator, are excited to present the Spring 2025 Healthy Living Series. This series will feature three insightful speakers addressing crucial topics to promote well-being and health. Dr. Peter Gaines, MD, a Diplomate of Family Medicine with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatrics, will discuss Aging Successfully, sharing strategies for maintaining health and vitality in later years.
Jennifer Marsh from Stanislaus County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services will lead a session on Fighting Fentanyl Together and Naloxone Training, offering
vital information on combating the fentanyl crisis and lifesaving intervention techniques.
Lastly, Naser Ataee, an instructor at the T'ai Chi Ch'uan Academy of Modesto, and
Christopher P. Condon, M.A. Ed.S., School Psychologist, will explore T'ai Chi Ch'uan,
Emotional Balance, and Well-Being, highlighting the benefits of this practice for
emotional and mental health. These sessions promise to be educational and empowering
for all attendees.
