In addition to providing written and visual guidelines, below is information on how to apply the brand when working in different mediums. 

Guidance for Student Videography On-Campus
  • The video/photography must be for non-commercial use only.
  • Activities should not pose a security or safety risk to those involved in the filming or other people on campus, should not cause damage to any college asset and must respect the rights of our students.
  • Students/guests that are uninvolved in the project cannot be filmed in any space where there is a reasonable presumption of privacy. MJC buildings are public spaces however if there a presumption of privacy an individual’s likeness cannot be captured and used without their permission (a signed release).
  • Contact MJC Events/Facilities to reserve the space.
  • Filming must be during business hours unless there is a staff/faculty member willing to chaperone their shoot outside of regular business hours.
  • Campus Safety must be notified.
