Offered in partnership with American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), the world’s largest training and credentialing organization, students learn principles of medical coding related to the three main code books: CPT®, ICD-10-CM Code Set and HCPCS Level II. This course is recommended for anyone who is preparing for a career in medical coding for a physician’s office and strongly recommended for anyone who is preparing for AAPC’s CPC Certification Exam. The curriculum is aligned to prepare students for academic and professional success, as well as the technical skills to thrive on the job.
