The intersection of Climate Change and Environmental Justice

Want to learn more about climate change and how it's related to climate justice? Join us on December 6th in Sierra Hall 132 at 7:30 pm for Isabelle Haddad's presentation hosted by MAPS. Isabelle is currently a PhD candidate at UC Merced and her work focuses on environmental justice, climate justice, and a just transition related to UC Merced and the surrounding community. This will involve assessing equity and justice considerations to inform campus-wide planning and decarbonization efforts. 

MAPS (Modesto Area Partners in Science) host several presentations from professionals in the science industry every semester for free. Each discussion is open to the public and takes place in Sierra Hall 132 at 7:30pm. Learn more about MAPS and how we partner with scientists and researchers locally.
