Fall Scholarship Opportunities
Good Egg Breakfast Scholarship: Due September 22, 2023. Deadline has passed for 2023.
MANRRS INSPIRE AG SCHOLARSHIP sponsored by PEPSICO: Deadline: October 15, 2023. Must be a current member of MANNRS.
MANRRS Programs and Scholarships 2023-2024 Overview (List of opportunities)
Voss-Berryhill Sophomore: Deadline is October of each year. Must have completed a minimum of 24 units to apply. Award recipients are invited to a Voss-Berryhill Scholarship luncheon in November.
Pacific Egg & Poultry Assn. (PEPA): Due November of each year.
SPRING Scholarship Opportunities
MJC General Online Scholarship: Deadline for 2022-2023 has passed. Students selected to receive a scholarship will be notified by student email during the first week of August, 2023.
For 2023-2024: Students should apply for hundreds of online MJC scholarships! Online
applications will be available after October 1, 2023. Deadline is typically the end
of January of each year.

American AgCredit: (For transfer students only) Due March of each year. Deadline has passed for 2023.
Agri-Culture / Jimmie Cox Memorial Scholarship - Four Scholarships; see web site for eligibility rules
Anthony W. “Tony” LaFetra Scholarship - Irrigation Scholarship. Due March of each year. Deadline has passed for 2023.
CA Grain & Feed Association: (For sophomore students transferrring to a 4-year university only!) Due March of each year. Deadline has passed for 2023.
CA Landscape Contractors Association LEAF Scholarship: Due April of each year. Deadline has passed for 2023.
CA /Seed Association Ginny Patin Memorial Scholarship: Due February 1 of each year. Deadline has passed for each year.
CA Pest Control Assn (CAPCA) Scholarship: Due May 5, 2023.
CA Women in Agriculture (CWA) Collegiate Scholarship - Stanislaus County: Due March 15 of each year; must attend Modesto Junior College or CSU-Stanislaus. Deadline has passed for 2023.
CA Women In Agriculture (CWA) Scholarship - Madera/Fresno - Must reside in Madera or Fresno County. Due March of each year. Deadline has passed for 2023.
Career & Technical Scholarships, funded through the Horatio Alger Endowment Fund, awarded to students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their lives wishing to pursue a career or technical education. Approximately 1,020 scholarships up to $2,500 each. The CTE application will open on June 15 with a deadline of August 15 targeted to students already enrolled at a community college.
California Farm Bureau (Multiple Scholarships under 1 Application): Due early February of each year. Deadline has passed for 2023.
California Wool Growers Association: Due March of each year. Deadline has passed for 2023.
Dairy Scholarships (Local): Due Spring of each year. Deadline has passed for 2023.
National Dairy Shrine Scholarship Applications: Open March 1 through April 15, deadline has passed for 2023.
Dairy Farmers of America Scholarship: Deadline has passed for 2023, but check out their 2023 internship opportunities, nationwide!
Fresno State Jordan College of Agriculture Sciences and Technology: For students transferring to Fresno State, there is over $500,000 given in scholarship awards to agriculture students! Apply ASAP. More information on the linked website page. Due March of each year. Deadline has passed for 2023.
Friends of the CA State Fair Scholarship Program: Due March of each year. Deadline has passed for 2023.

April 18, 2023 - Thank you to everyone that attended the MJC Agriculture Last Breakfast and Scholarship Awards Ceremony! Over $85,000 in scholarship monies was announced. More information coming soon!

2022 MJC Agriculture Last Breakfast & Awards Ceremony:
The annual Last Breakfast and Scholarship Awards Ceremony was Tuesday, April 19, 2022,
at the West Campus ACE Pavilion. Over $90,000 was awarded to both returning and transferring
MJC students. The 2022 awards can be reviewed by clicking on the image below:
