Modesto Junior College
Due to poor air quality, and in the interest of your health, Modesto Junior College is closing at 4 p.m., November 15, and will remain closed through Sunday, November 18. All classes and extracurricular activities on campus are cancelled during this time frame. The college will reopen and classes resume on Monday, November 19.

Nurse 53 Certified Home Health Aide meets theory and laboratory experiences required for state-certified nursing assistants to become eligible for the home health aide certification. The nursing assistant certification (CNA) must be "active" and "un-restricted".

Content includes: orientation to home health care, personal care of clients including medical and social needs; nutrition, safety and cleanliness in the home.


NURSE 53: Home Health Aide (HHA)
The Home Health Aide course is a short term course for 2 units and requires a nurse
assistant certificate by the orientation date.   No books are required and the approximate
fees are $90.00.
