Welcome to the Modesto Junior College Carl Perkins V site.

The Carl Perkins Act, also commonly referred to as "CTE Perkins", is a federal act that supports resources for instructional programs and services for the success of students from "special populations" enrolled in Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs. Special populations include to students who are

  • economically disadvantaged,
  • limited English proficient,
  • student with disabilities,
  • single parents and displaced homemakers, and/or
  • non-traditional gender representation in the discipline of study

In this site, you will find information about the Carl Perkins Act, a listing of programs and services areas that are eligible and resource resources to support the success of you, our students.
