The Automotive Technology program is designed to provide training in automobile repair, maintenance theory, study of factory manuals and publications, and applications of methods used in the auto servicing and repair industry.

AUTOMOTIVE BRAKES AND SUSPENSION CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT

Upon satisfactory completion of The Automotive Brakes and Suspension Certificate of Achievement Award, the student should be prepared to: Demonstrate compliance with current automotive industry safety and environmental standards. Perform maintenance and repair operations to vehicle braking and suspension systems in accordance with ASE standards.

AUTOMOTIVE DIAGNOSIS CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT

Upon satisfactory completion of the Automotive Diagnosis Certificate of Achievement, the student should be prepared to: Demonstrate compliance with current automotive safety and environmental standards and diagnose and repair automotive drivability problems in accordance with ASE standards.

AUTOMOTIVE ENGINES AND TRANSMISSIONS CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT

Upon satisfactory completion of the Automotive Engines and Transmissions Certificate of Achievement, the student should be prepared to: Demonstrate compliance with current automotive industry safety and environmental standards. Perform maintenance and repair operations to automotive engines and transmissions in accordance with ASE standards.

AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT

The Automotive Technology program is a sequence of courses designed to prepare students for entry level employment opportunities in the automotive service industry. In addition to gaining the skills required to maintain, diagnose and repair automobiles successful students will have received the knowledge needed to prepare them for the nationally recognized Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) examinations.

AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN A.S. DEGREE

The Automotive Technology program is a sequence of courses designed to prepare students for entry level employment opportunities in the automotive service industry. ELECTRIC VEHICLE CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT

The Electric Vehicle Certificate of Achievement is designed to prepare students to meet the emerging field of service and diagnosis of electric and hybrid vehicles. This Electric Vehicle certificate of Achievement will provide students with the foundational skills necessary to take the ASE L3 Light Duty Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Specialist Exam and be accepted into a manufacturer’s training program for the service and repair Electric Vehicles (EV) and Hybrid/Electric Vehicles (HEV). Subjects covered will include Electric Vehicle Safety, EV and HEV design, High voltage battery service and repair, drive systems, the repair and service of power electronics.
