The Stanislaus Mother Lode Adult Education Consortium is a collaborative network of education providers and community partners dedicated to expanding and improving adult education services in the region. The Consortium is one of over 70 across California formed under the California Adult Education Program (CAEP), a joint effort overseen by the California Department of Education (CDE) and the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office (CCCCO). CAEP supports regional collaboration to better serve adult learners through programs in areas such as adult basic education, English as a Second Language, high school diploma or equivalency, career training, and transition to postsecondary education or employment.

Through collaborative planning and shared resources, the Consortium helps adult learners build foundational skills, earn credentials, and transition successfully into higher education or the workforce.
