StanRTA Route Change

StanRTA is evaluating potential route changes that would affect travel to and from both East and West campuses. The proposed changes are part of StanRTA’s Connect the S systemwide plan to make service faster, more reliable, and easier to use. As part of this process, StanRTA is welcoming feedback from the campus community including faculty, staff and students as well as the community at large.

The following service changes* are proposed:

• Route 30 would be eliminated. Carver Rd would be served by Route 33.
• Route 31 would not change between the Modesto Transit Center and MJC.
• Route 33 would be adjusted and no longer directly serve East Campus or West Campus.
• Route 34 would be a new shuttle route connecting East Campus and West Campus, Monday-Thursday while classes are in session.

Your feedback will help StanRTA understand the affects of the proposed transit changes and refine future service to better meet rider needs.

*Any route or schedule changes would not take effect until July 2027.
