Free flu vaccines for students are now available at MJC Health Services during Fall 2025

Millions of people get sick from influenza (flu) each year. Flu severity varies from year to year, but flu season always brings serious consequences. Vaccination is safe and the best way to help prevent severe complications. Everyone age 6 months and older (with rare exception) is recommended to get a yearly flu vaccine. Flu vaccine may be given at the same time as other vaccines.

Benefits of influenza vaccination:

  • Prevents missed MJC classes, work, doctor, and emergency room visits
  • Reduces the risks for major cardiac events
  • Protects pregnant people and their babies
  • Reduces hospitalization and death

Protect yourself, your coworkers, classmates, and loved ones!

Contact MJC Health Services to make a vaccination appointment. Visit the Health Services webpage to view other services and programs. Ask about other vaccines available to you as a MJC student! Nurses are available for appointments on East and West Campus.
