Take a Positive Pause for your Mental Health

Join the mental health support group, Positive Pause, brought to you by MJC Health Services. Positive Pause is a mental health support group, created to provide a welcoming, safe and supportive space for all MJC students. Each week important topics like anxiety, overcoming setbacks, self-care, healthy boundaries, stress management, mindfulness, and resilience are discussed. 

Meetings will take place every Tuesday from 1pm-2pm through December 9, 2025

Students have the chance to share experiences, connect with others, and learn practical coping skills that can help you manage the many stressors of college life, and learn about support services on campus available to you. During Positive Pause, we also participate in practicing mindful activities like painting, bracelet making, journaling, vision boarding, among other activities to help you relax, express yourself creatively, and recharge both mentally and emotionally. Students can drop in anytime. All MJC students are welcome. Free snacks and refreshments will be available.
