New BLS projections and industry info in O*NET websites! The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has released new employment projections for 2016 - 2026, along with updated industry employment data. This information is now included within O*NET OnLine, My Next Move, Mi Próximo Paso, and My Next Move for Veterans. Importantly, this allows for the update of the Bright Outlook feature included within the O*NET sites. The Bright Outlook feature helps clients target careers where new job opportunities are likely in the future. The "Browse by Industry" searches within the O*NET sites were also updated to reflect more current employment patterns.
The Career Hub provides personalized recommendations to you about which occupations to view, which activities to perform, and what local opportunities are available for you. The system learns from your exploration to always display items that are relevant to you. All you need to do to get started with the Career Hub is sign up for a free account. From then on, anything you do while logged in, will feed back to the Career Hub and update your feed.
