Program Review

Modesto Junior College recognizes that its curriculum and course offerings must be responsive to the needs of the students and the community that it serves, and that the college must continue to support its mission and goals of individual programs. Program Review is an ongoing, systematic process that is used to assess and improve student learning and achievement within each program offered at the college. The results of Program Review are used to continually improve and refine our programs to best support students' educational goals and achievement of those goals.

How often is Program Review completed?

Full Program Review is completed once every two years, typically in the Fall semester. Halfway through the two year cycle, programs are asked to complete a Progress Report in which they check in with their program goals and have the opportunity to request additional resources.

Program Progress Reports are completed halfway through the two year cycle, typically toward the end of the Fall semester. These Progress Reports provide departments an opportunity to reflect on the goals they set in their last Program Review, identify areas for improvement, and request additional resources to help meet their goals.
