If selected, all interns are required to work a minimum of 12 hours, per week, in
exchange for housing. All interns are selected to work at a designated instructional
unit (sheep, beef, general office, etc.).
Students reside in 7 Houses, each equipped with:
4 bedrooms, 1 for each student
2 bathrooms, shared
Living room, full kitchen
Washer/Dryer

Two opportunities per year:
Fall/Spring (August - May)
Summer (May - August)
Program Requirements
Graduating high school senior or current MJC student
2.0 GPA to apply, 2.25 GPA to maintain eligibility
16-unit requirement
1 unit of MAG 259A-Work Experience, a 3-unit intern-specific class & 12 units of course
work. First-year interns take an additional 3-unit equipment safety class.
Application Process
Applications open during the spring semester of each year. All applications muct be
either mailed in or hand delivered to the Ag Division Office.
