The MJC School of Public Safety promotes student success by providing quality training and education. The MJC Regional Fire Training Center was created to operate a unique partnership between MJC and local emergency groups and fire agencies in both Stanislaus and San Joaquin County.
The School of Public Safety works closely with local emergency medical services and fire agencies to expose students to real world simulated events and providing on-campus opportunities such as exposure to industry professionals.
Our objective is to help our students build a better life. We prepare leaders and technically skilled professionals for industry. In addition to our comprehensive training programs, we also offer students:
The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) department provides comprehensive training through its Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-Basic) program, preparing students for the National Registry EMT Basic Exam. Students gain essential skills in emergency care, learning how to assess and treat common neurological, respiratory, and cardiac emergencies.
