Wellness Vending Machines

In 2023, Modesto Junior College Health Services was selected by the California Community College Chancellor's Office to participate in the Wellness Vending Machine Pilot Program. Under Assembly Bill 2482, each participating community college shall establish at least one wellness vending machine that dispenses wellness products, including, but not limited to, condoms, dental dams, menstrual cups, lubrication, tampons, menstrual pads, pregnancy tests, and nonprescription drugs, including discounted emergency contraception. The pilot ends January 30, 2029.
