The School of Science, Engineering & Mathematics includes programs that teach students to use problem-solving strategies and the scientific method to better understand ourselves, as well as the physical and biological universe around us, to produce new knowledge and technology, improve lives, and seek a sustainable future. Our courses and degrees server four interwoven groups:
- Students majoring in math, science and engineering with plans to transfer to a university
- Students in other areas completig their general education math and science requirments for transfer
- Students completing their prerequisite coursework in preparation for allied health careers
- Students needing developmental and refresher courses in mathematics
