Steps to apply to Modesto Junior College Accommodations and Support Center
FOUR EASY TRANSITION STEPS TO MJC ASC
In order to be ready to start Modesto Junior College in the summer or fall semester, students MUST complete the following no later than mid-March, and for spring semester no later than mid-September.
1. Apply online to attend Modesto Junior College – www.mjc.edu
Summer/Fall application is available online February 1
Spring application is available online August 1
When applying to the college students may also apply for financial aid (FAFSA) and the California College Promise Grant (CCPG). Once the college has processed your application, you will be issued a student identification number, also referred to as a “W” number.
2. After notification of being accepted to Modesto Junior College, complete one of the English and Math placement options on the English and Math Assessment Page.
3. Complete Accommodations and Support Center Application ASC Online Application (log in with your MJC student email address and password). Contact the ASC office at (209)575-6225 if you need assistance completing the application.
4. Submit completed application online with verification of disability. If you have a hard copy of the verification of disability form you can drop it off in Student Services Building 112 (east campus) or Yosemite Hall 115 (west campus). It can take up to 5 days for your application to be processed and you will be contacted with a Welcome letter or with a request for additional information to process your application.
Students who successfully complete the above mentioned steps by mid-March may be eligible for priority registration for the Summer/Fall semesters, and by mid-September for the Spring semester. For additional information call (209)575-6225 or (209)575-6226.
